Acer launches new Swift 3 laptop with 17-hour battery life in India

The latest generation of the Acer Swift 3 laptop features 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor.

Acer launched its first Intel Project Athena verified Swift 3 laptop in India with a starting price of Rs 64,999. Powered by 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processors and Iris Plus graphics, the Acer Swift 3 delivers the latest in performance, connectivity and platform stability with long-lasting battery life that gives users up to 17 hours of non-stop productivity.

The new Acer Swift 3 laptop is designed to suit the needs of a power-user, packing excellent performance and eye-popping graphics into a sleek and stylish metal chassis. This laptop will be available at leading retail stores and Acer exclusive stores.

Co-engineered with Intel as part of Intel’s Project Athena innovation program, the new Acer Swift 3 comes with the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors Intel Iris Plus Graphics, delivering uncompromising performance, stunning entertainment and power efficiency.

In addition, this new Acer Swift 3 laptop’s 13.5-inch QHD IPS with 400 nits brightness 2,256 x 1,504 display features a productivity-boosting 3:2 aspect ratio with thin bezel in a lightweight body weighing just 1.19 kg. The display covers 100 percent of the sRGB colour gamut and is further enhanced by Acer’s own suite of Colour Intelligence and ExaColor software.

The new Acer Swift 3 features eye-popping colours and details that bring images and videos to life. Through the use of thin bezels with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 84 percent, users see more of the 13.5-inch 3:2 2256×1504 IPS The 3:2 ratio that gives 18 percent more vertical height so there’s more length to read on. For further colour enhancement, the Swift 3 also includes Acer Colour Intelligence and Acer ExaColor Technology.

Weighing at just 1.19kg and 15.95mm, the new Acer Swift 3 laptop comes in a stylish the aluminum & magnesium-aluminium metal chassis turns heads. It also includes a maximum of 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD and up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM. In cases of emergency, it can also be fast-charged to provide up to 4-hours of use for just 30 minutes charge.

Additionally, Wake on Voice (WoV) enables the new Acer Swift 3 users to activate and query Windows 10 when the screen is off. It also allows interaction with Cortana while the device is in Modern Standby mode. Password free access gives users quicker access to the laptop. The embedded fingerprint reader is a quick and secure way for Windows Hello to verify a user’s identity without a password. Also, the illuminated keyboard for continuous typing after the sun goes down.

Furthermore, Users get easy updates to the latest information with a full range of connectivity options. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) improves the average network throughput by up to 3 times and reduces latency by up to 75 percent compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Through the use of the full function, USB-C users get superfast data transfer over Thunderbolt 3, USB3.1 Gen 2, and Display Port and it can also be used for power delivery.
