Telegram has rolled out new update, adding new features such as direct messages for channels, voice trimming, topic tabs, and high-quality images, which improve the user experience and allow for quick topic browsing and photo transmission.

Telegram Channels now enable users to send direct messages to owners and administrators, allowing for private conversations without disclosing personal information. Content creators can use this mode to engage with subscribers in a more simplified interface, apart from the owner’s personal conversations. To send a direct message, simply tap the message bubble on the channel’s bottom bar. To enable direct messages, enter the channel settings. Content creators might charge a fee for each direct message to facilitate more controlled interactions.

Telegram groups now have a new tab layout to make it easier to view chat lists and hop between conversations. Users can choose between a wider sidebar and a minimalist bar at the top of the conversation. You may enable topics in any group by going to Group Settings > Topics.

The global debut of the Nothing Phone 3 is scheduled for July 1. The company has now announced the release date of the Nothing Headphone 1, its first over-the-ear headphones, in addition to the smartphone. Earlier today, the news was made at SXSW London.

London-based technology is going to introduce a new line of products. At SXSW London, UKCEO Carl Pei talked on the future of smartphones, Nothing’s success, and community co-creation. Nothing Headphone (1), the company’s first over-ear audio device, is scheduled to debut globally on July 1st in London.

The CEO of Nothing presented a design proposal for wireless over-the-ear headphones in black and white two years ago, but the firm has a lot more to unveil in the coming days.

Additionally, the company confirmed that it is developing over-the-ear headphones when a wireless headphone model, number B170, appeared on the SGS Fimko certification website. Acer Super ZX Review: Call on a budget 

Acer’s first smartphones, the Super ZX and Super ZX Pro, were recently revealed in India. We received the former for review and have been using it as our daily driver for the past week to ten days. The smartphone costs only Rs 9,990. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and a 64-megapixel triple back camera setup. Design-wise, the phone is simply amazing, as there are very few manufacturers in India currently that provide a well-designed, affordable smartphone. If you’re searching for a smartphone under Rs 10,000, you should absolutely read our Acer Super ZX review.

Acer Super ZX Review: Design and Display

Before we get started on the design side of things, let’s have a look at what’s inside the retail packaging. The product is packaged in black with a logo on top. The box includes the Acer Super ZX phone, a transparent protective case, a SIM ejector tool, a 33W fast charger, a USB Type-A to Type-C braided cable, and some documents.

The Acer Super ZX features a smooth matte surface on the rear. The handset is available from Amazon in three colours: Lunar Blue, Cosmic Green, and Carbon Black. For this review, we got the Lunar Blue model, which looks gorgeous with its gradient finish. The shifting colour pattern has a blue hue. The design appears to be fascinating, and the in-hand feel is pleasant. 

A 13-megapixel camera is housed in a punch hole on the front of the panel. The bezels on the sides are quite noticeable. Although it does have a tiny chin at the bottom, considering the price, it’s generally acceptable.

The handset’s thickness is likewise acceptable, at 8.6 mm. The camera module is also highly fascinating, similar to those seen in mid-range or flagship smartphones. The camera module’s shape and texture are particularly stunning; it resembles a revolving ring but does not rotate.

The circular camera module consists of three cameras and a flash. As we previously stated, the design is pretty unusual, and the company has used a Sony sensor. The back edges are gently curved, making it easy to handle. The weight distribution is also ideal, so when you’re gaming, the same amount of weight is delivered onto both hands.

In terms of button location and ports, the power button, which includes a fingerprint sensor, is on the right side, as are the volume rockers that are slightly above it. The hybrid dual SIM slot is located on the left side of the frame. You may use two nanoSIM cards or a single nanoSIM/microSD card in it. The speaker grille and a secondary microphone are located on the top.

At the bottom, there is a speaker grille, a USB Type-C connector, the primary microphone, and a 3.5mm audio port.

The Acer Super ZX has a 6.78-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,406 x 1,080 pixels. The screen features 800 nits of brightness, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. It is capable of producing over a billion colours. Any OTT app, including YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video, can easily run as the panel has L1 certification. The hues are vivid and extremely rich. When using this phone outside, the display seems crystal clear. Because of its superb display quality, it can be used for both daily tasks and watching videos.

Further, the touch sampling rate during gameplay is 240Hz. You will notice the change if you play BGMI. It improves the gaming experience by responding fast and keeping records of your finger movements in real time. Everything on the screen has aesthetically nice colour schemes and is fairly sharp. The resolution of the screen is Full HD+. 

There are stereo speakers on the phone. This is good, especially if you watch a lot of videos.. 

Here, the voice is clear, and the audio quality is decent. All in all, the sound quality is superbly balanced. In addition, the speaker has a decent loudness, and there is no distortion.

Acer Super ZX Review: Performance and Cameras

With its 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU running at 2.4 GHz, the Acer Super ZX’s hardware contributes to its respectable benchmark result. Up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 8GB of RAM are included with it. An additional 4GB of virtual RAM can be added.

People who use phones under Rs 10,000 are more likely to consume content, be active on social media or make phone calls, and do not play games. However, if you enjoy gaming, you will be able to play certain games on it. The chipset can also handle demanding applications.

If you look at the UI, it’s fairly clean; by the way, it comes pre-installed with Android 15. We didn’t see any bloatware applications. Acer’s user interface is easy since it delivers an almost totally stock Android experience.

The power button has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The built-in sensor worked great. It is easily accessible and unlocks accurately.

Let’s talk about the cameras. A 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter make up the triple back camera unit of the Acer Super ZX. Additionally, the phone has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and selfies. AI image enhancement is included with the camera system.

It’s a great camera setup, especially for daylight photography. For a phone that costs less than Rs 10,000, the colour and image quality are astounding. With outstanding dynamic range, sharpness, and detail, the sensor is exceptionally good at catching details. This mobile features a typical 5,000 mAh battery. A battery life of one to one and a half days is easily achievable. Additionally, it supports 33W charging. The packaging includes the charger, as said. It will take more than an hour to fully charge this phone.

We are rather pleased with the Acer Super ZX’s performance and design.

Without a doubt, the design and build quality are really elegant and comfortable to hold in the hand. The performance of the gadget is outstanding, especially for those looking for the greatest deal within the Rs 10,000 price range. 

The gadget boasts a fantastic camera system that is excellent at shooting portraits and capturing stunning images at any time. OnePlus has officially announced the launch of an affordable compact flagship phone OnePlus 13s, in the Indian market today. As we said, it is a compact flagship, so it includes all the top-of-the-line hardware. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and runs on the OxygenOS 15 interface based on Android 15. The device features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and packs a 5,850mAh battery.

OnePlus 13s Specifications

OnePlus 13s flaunts a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO ProXDR display with 1,216×2,640 pixels of resolution. The panel comes with Aqua Touch 2.0 technology and supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it has a Glove Mode allowing the display to be accessible with gloved hands. Plus, it has up to 1,600 nits peak brightness level, and a 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. Also, there is an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.

In terms of photos and videos, there is a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) support). Additionally, there is a 50-megapixel S5KJN5 telephoto lens (an f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) support). Selfies are handled by a 32-megapixel front camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and EIS support.

The OnePlus 13s is backed by a 5,850mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. Additionally, it features Bypass Charging, which directly powers the phone instead of the battery, reducing heating and allowing extended gaming sessions without worrying about battery overheating.

The smartphone also has a customisable Plus Key for quick access to functions like as accessing the camera, translating text, and turning on the torch. A single key push activates the AI Plus Mind space.

The OnePlus 13s has a gigantic 4,400mm² 3D Cryo-Velocity Vapour Chamber, surpassing rivals’ Ultra devices and other small phones. Its unique 3D architecture facilitates quick SoC heat dissipation. The OnePlus 13s is scheduled to be released in India today. The upcoming device is a compact smartphone and an affordable alternative to the flagship OnePlus 13, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device would have a new programmable Plus Key.

The OnePlus 13s will be introduced in India starting at 12 p.m. today. The launch event will be streamed live on the OnePlus India official YouTube channel. The OnePlus 13s is a sleek and polished smartphone with a thin 8.15mm profile, 185 grams weight, and gently curved 2.5D glass on both the front and back.

The OnePlus 13s will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. The handset will have a 6.32-inch display. According to the official teaser, the forthcoming OnePlus phone will include an upgraded Short Key that replaces the alert slider. The next smartphone looks to share the same appearance as the OnePlus 13T, which debuted in China earlier this month. This means that the phone will have the same features and design as its Chinese cousin, the OnePlus 13T.

GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu thinks that this functionality will be shared by all four versions, not only the top-tier iPhone 17 Pro Max. This change follows Apple’s recent decision to make Dynamic Island a regular feature.

Redragon is a tech outfit that’s known for delivering budget gaming peripherals that offer amazing value for money. Its most recent offering, the K1ng Pro wireless mouse, promises high-end performance under Rs 3,000. On paper, it has all the essential specs you want in a gaming mouse. At the heart of the device lies PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor with a maximum resolution of 26,000 DPI. To eliminate any sort of latency, the mouse uses a 2.4Ghz receiver for wireless connection. Despite its all-plastic build, the Redragon K1ng Pro does not feel cheap in any way. The panels do not have any flex to them. The shell maintains its rigidity when pressure is applied to it. The upside to having an all-plastic body is that the mouse feels extremely light. It weighs just 49 grams, which is incredible for a gaming mouse.

The K1ng Pro has an ergonomic design for left-handed use. Its shape is suitable for different kinds of grip styles. You can rest your panel on the mouse without feeling fatigued after multiple hours of use. If you prefer a claw-style grip, the K1ng Pro’s design will not produce any problems.

Redragon’s anime character ‘Eisa’ is printed on the top body panel. The front buttons are also customised with anime aesthetics. The Redragon branding can be found on the left side of the mouse, along with two secondary buttons. The topmost button on this array has a grip-like texture. The scroll wheel between the left and right click buttons is finished in rubber.

The bottom panel of the mouse houses PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor, a DPI switcher, and a connection toggle. The top and bottom ends of this panel have rubber feet. While the mouse glides easily on most surfaces, a couple of small feet along the sides would have been ideal.

The two main buttons use Huano switches. Redragon claims that these switches are reliable up to 50 million clicks. The buttons have a good travel and a nice tactile response. The clickiness isn’t muted, but it doesn’t amount to a nuisance if you’re using this mouse in a public setting. We found the clickiness of all the buttons on this mouse to be very satisfying.

The Redragon K1ng Pro has 3 connectivity options: USB Type-C (wired), Bluetooth, and 2.4Hz wireless. The last option requires using the 2.4GHz wireless receiver that comes in the box. This was our primary choice during the review period.

The PixArt PAW3395 sensor performs beautifully on this mouse. It has a maximum resolution of 26,000 DPI, which allows it to track seamlessly on most surfaces. The DPI level can be altered using the dedicated switcher on the bottom panel. There are 5 default levels to choose from: 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, 8000, and 26,000. The switcher can be programmed to toggle the resolution from 100 – 26k DPI using the companion software. The optical sensor also has a 50G acceleration, while its speed is capped at 650 IPS.

We played FPS games like Call of Duty and CS: GO with the Redragon K1ng Pro. The wireless mouse offered a tremendous response rate at a very low latency. It registered the minutest of movements and kept up with the pace of the game. The gaming experience was very silky. The mouse’s light weight was pivotal in making quick movements and getting those crucial hits in the game.

Redragon’s companion software can be used to customise all five buttons on this mouse. You can use this software to create tactical keybinds for specific games. The side buttons are programmed to go back and forward by default, which is a setting we didn’t mind in regular usage.

The wireless mouse is equipped with a 400mAh battery pack. Redragon promises a battery life of up to 150 hours if you stick to a low DPI level. During the week-long review period, we kept the resolution of the Redragon K1ng Pro under 2,000 DPI. Needless to say, we were unable to exhaust the battery of the gaming mouse.

Verdict

The Redragon K1ng Pro is one of the finest gaming mice you can buy under Rs 3,000 right now. Its lightweight build, tactile buttons, and high resolution make it a winner in our books. The anime aesthetics are a nice touch. However, what impressed us the most was the mouse’s superior build quality despite an all-plastic body.

If you don’t want to splurge a lot of money on a high-end gaming mouse, the K1ng Pro will fit all your performance needs. Its relentless PAW3395 sensor can track on all surfaces and keep up with fast-paced gaming. All 5 buttons on the are programmable using the companion software. Our only minor complaint is that the bottom panel lacks secondary feet along the sides, which slightly inhibits the gliding ability of the device.
