Elephone P8000 4G enabled smartphone with 3GB RAM, 13MP camera listed on Flipkart

Elephone has unveiled the P8000 4G enabled smartphone last month. However, the company did not reveal the price and availability details of the device. Now, the smartphone is listed online on Flipkart.com with the tag of out of stock. The listing does not talk about the pricing of the device, but it is speculated to be around Rs 12,999.

Talking about the specifications, the Elephone P8000 features a 5.5-inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The device comes with dual micro SIM support and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop which is upgradable to Android M. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 3GB of RAM.

The onboard storage of the smartphone accounts to 16GB which can be expanded further using microSD card. The Elephone P8000 sports a 13.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Samsung CMOS sensor. It also flaunts a 5.0-megpixel front facing camera for video calling. The device offers 4G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options and packs in a massive 4,165 mAh battery. In order to keep the device and data secure the smartphone also comprises of a fingerprint sensor.

Last week, Elephone revealed that it will soon be launching the device in India via its Facebook India page.
