Boult X Mustang Q Headphones Review: Design
After a few days of use, we are quite pleased with these headphones. They are comfortable to wear, even during workouts; they remain in place and never fall off, and the sound quality is clear with excellent bass. Additionally, the size is ideal, fitting nearly all heads and ears. Because the cushions are a bit heavier than those of other headphones, the earpads are incredibly soft and provide a good fit. Our ears were completely covered by these on-ear headphones.
When purchasing headphones, we consider comfort to be the most crucial factor, followed by sound quality. The memory foam cushion utilised here is ideal for daily usage due to its IPX5 water resistance. This keeps the ears from sweating and from falling off when jogging or working out.
It looks hip, youthful, and fashionable, and the colour and packaging are also excellent. In addition, an instruction manual is included in the box. That is useful. When you first try to connect the headphones to your smartphone, the instructions are rather basic.

With design cues derived from the blue Mustang Shelby GT 500, Boult has integrated Mustang aesthetics into its Mustang audio line. The left earcup is emblazoned with the Mustang logo, while the right earcup bears the running horse impression.
There is a USB charging port on the right ear cup. It also has a power switch that you may push for a few seconds to turn on. The earcup also has a multi-function button dubbed XBass to switch between modes and a volume control button. The blue flashing light indicates that the power is on.
Boult X Mustang Q Headphones Review: Performance
Thanks to its 40mm drivers, the sound quality is fantastic, with clean highs and powerful bass. The audio drivers are very loud. The Q headphones offer noise-isolating ear cups, balanced sound, and a customisable option. They don’t have an ANC option, which is ok at this price point. But we loved the resonance, even at maximum volume, the sound does not crack. Thanks to its strong Bluetooth connection, these are good for making calls both indoors and outdoors.
The ENC microphone performs well for clear calls and is incredibly comfortable for extended usage.
Additionally, you have four EQ mode selection choices that allow you to effortlessly tailor the audio, such as pop, rap, vocal, and others.
Pairing over Bluetooth is seamless. As soon as we activate the Bluetooth on our phone, it immediately connects with it. A pleasant addition is the AUX option, and the Bluetooth 5.4 connection is reliable. Through Bluetooth, you may simultaneously pair the headphones with your Android device and a tablet or laptop. The headphones’ remarkable battery life—roughly four to five days on a single charge—makes them appropriate for working and commuting, demonstrating their robustness and longevity. We haven’t frequently needed to charge them. Additionally, it charges quickly and effortlessly.
With ANC turned on, the headphones are said to have a battery life of up to 70 hours on a single charge. With only a 10-minute charge, they are supposedly capable of providing 10 hours of playing time.
