Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE launching in India on this date

Both smartphones will launch on the same day.

Vivo today officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming devices, Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE, in India. The launch date is set for mid-July. Both smartphones will be introduced on the same day. The foldable phone will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery. Whereas the X200 FE is confirmed to come with a Zeiss-branded rear camera setup and MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor.

Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE India launch is set to take place on July 14 at noon. Post launch, the devices will be made available for purchase via Flipkart and Vivo’s e-store in the country.

Vivo X Fold 5 specifications expected

The Vivo X Fold 5 is set to launch in India, weighing 217g and measuring only 0.92cm1 when folded and 0.43 cm when opened. It will have a 6000mAh battery, 80W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Processor that boosts CPU speed by 30% and battery efficiency by 25%. The phone will also feature Vivo’s Origin Workbench, AI Productivity Suite, and a Shortcut Button for increased productivity. The Origin Workbench offers multitasking and a clutter-free interface, while Gemini Assistant with Google allows context-aware tasks and flexibility.

The smartphone Vivo X Fold 5 has a carbon fibre support hinge that has been tested 600,000 times and can withstand freezing temperatures of up to -20°C.
It is said to be IPX8+IPX9 water resistant and IP5X dust resistant.

The display supports 4500 nits of brightness, and the Vivo X Fold 5 camera features a 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Lens, 50MP Ultra Wide-Angle Lens, and a 50MP Ultra-Sensing VCS Bionic Main Camera. The camera app offers efficient visual editing capabilities, including AI Image Expander, Magic Move, Erase, and Reflection Erase.

Vivo X200 FE specifications expected

The Vivo X200 FE is set to launch with a 6.31-inch display and a 7.99mm thick design co-engineered with ZEISS Master Colour technology. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and comes in Amber Yellow and Luxe Black colours. The phone features a unique “squircle” design for its camera and a Zeiss-branded triple camera unit at the back.

It also has Shield Glass with IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance to dust and water. The Vivo X200 FE will be equipped with a 6500 mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. It runs on Funtouch OS, featuring AI-powered enhancements such as Gemini Assistant with Google, AI Captions, Circle to Search, Live Text, AI Document tools, Smart Call Assistant, and intuitive personalisation options.
