Our Take
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, featuring a new Armor FlexHinge made of Grade 4 Titanium Lattice for durability and crease reduction. It lacks S Pen support for a slimmer profile.
The camera module design has remained mostly unchanged. In terms of display, it has increased in size from 7.6 to 8 inches. The size of the cover display has also increased. The previous model featured an AMOLED display that measured 6.3 inches, but it has now enlarged to 6.5 inches. The cover is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and the rear by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The newest Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy provides a substantial performance gain over the previous generation, particularly in terms of AI workloads.
The Fold 7 is a huge boost over the Z Fold 6, with a 200MP main camera update that makes the photography experience similar to Samsung’s newest flagship phones, the S25 series, and an impressive rise from 50MP to 200MP.
The Z Fold 7 is a significant upgrade in terms of design, performance, and camera, but it costs more and no longer supports the S Pen.
