Beats brings new iPhone 17 cases to India with MagSafe and Camera Control

A lanyard that doubles as a kickstand and a rugged option headline the lineup.

If your new iPhone needs armour with a touch of flair, the Beats iPhone 17 cases arrive in India today with three takes on protection and practicality. There is a thin, lightweight shell for everyday use, a clever kickstand version that turns the lanyard into a stand for hands-free viewing, and a rugged build aimed at people who treat sidewalks like obstacle courses. All three are MagSafe-friendly and integrate with Camera Control.

What Beats is launching

Beats is rolling out cases for the latest iPhone family. The standard Beats iPhone 17 Case with MagSafe & Camera Control fits iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Beats iPhone 17 Kickstand Case with MagSafe & Camera Control covers iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Its party trick is a removable lanyard whose adaptor slides open and locks to a magnetic point on the case side, creating a stable iPhone 17 kickstand case for landscape viewing. The rugged iPhone 17 case option focuses on extra protection and grip for iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Across the line, the double-shot hardshell exterior teams up with an interior microfiber lining. The outer matte finish is designed to reduce visible scratches, smudges and fingerprints. All models are compatible with MagSafe Camera Control accessories and software features.

Colours, finishes and the tough one

  • Standard and Kickstand cases: Granite Grey, Bedrock Blue, Lime Stone, Pebble Pink

  • Rugged case: Everest Black, Rocky Blue, Alpine Grey, Sierra Orange

The rugged model adds impact-absorbing sidewalls, an enclosed bottom for fuller coverage and a textured matte exterior for better grip. Beats says it validates durability through repeated drop and tumble cycles, along with scratch, thermal, chemical and mechanical tests to mirror real-world use.

India pricing and availability

The new lineup is available to order today via the Apple online store. Pricing is as follows:

  • Beats iPhone 17 Case with MagSafe & Camera Control: Rs 4,500

  • Beats iPhone 17 Kickstand Case with MagSafe & Camera Control: Rs 5,900

  • Beats iPhone 17 Rugged Case with MagSafe & Camera Control: Rs 7,900

A quick word from Beats

“We heard users want style and serious utility. The new Beats iPhone cases integrate protective features, delivering a leap in everyday functionality,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president for Music, Sports and Beats.

Sustainability note

Packaging is 100 per cent fibre-based. The wood fibres are either fully recycled or responsibly sourced, which aligns the cases with shoppers who care about greener choices.

Should you upgrade your case?

If you shoot often, the MagSafe alignment and Camera Control tie-ins make these worth a look. If you stream on the go, the lanyard kickstand case trick is more useful than it sounds. If your phone meets the floor more than you would like, the rugged iPhone 17 case offers the most peace of mind. Shoppers tracking value may also like the simpler shell in Beats iPhone colours that still keeps fingerprints in check.

Neat idea, that kickstand lanyard. It fixes a small but everyday problem without shouting about it, though the Beats case prices in India sit on the premium side.
