Vivo Y31 series with a 6,500mAh battery launched in India

The lineup includes two models: a standard and a Pro variant. 

The Vivo Y31 series debuted in the Indian market. The new Vivo lineup includes the Vivo Y31 5G and the Vivo Y31 Pro 5G. Both phones are available in two colour options. It features a 120Hz refresh rate support display. Both phones feature a triple rear camera setup. A 6,500mAh battery is onboard, supporting 44W fast charging.

Specifications, Features

The Y31 Pro is a gaming device with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G 4nm platform, 8GB + 8GB Extended RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. It features an ultra-large graphite cooling system and Ultra Game Mode with Dual 10x Super Touch Control and 4D Game Vibration. The Vivo Y31 runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform, offering efficient performance and a 50-month smooth experience certification. It also offers features like AI SuperLink 360° signal boost and Google tools.

The Y31 and Y31 Pro feature a 6.68-inch and a 6.72-inch FHD Dotch Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. The Y31 Pro, a high-brightness audiovisual device, offers an immersive experience with a 1050-nit display, 120Hz smooth scrolling, and dual stereo speakers with a 400% volume boost, making it perfect for streaming reels and gaming with surround sound effects.

In terms of photography, the Pro model comes with a 50MP Ultra HD Main Camera, 2MP Bokeh Camera, Dynamic Light effects, and 8MP HD Portrait Camera. It also supports 4K video recording on the rear camera. The Vivo Y31 has a 50MP HD Main Camera, 8MP HD Portrait Camera, and QVGA Camera. Both devices have Super Night Mode for enhanced brightness and noise reduction.

Both handsets house a 6,500mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support. The phones are IP68 & IP69 rated for water and dust resistance and military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H). It also brings dual stereo speakers with a 400% volume boost.

Price in India, Availability

The Vivo Y31 5G has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. There is a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model priced at Rs 16,499. It comes in two colour options: Rose Red and Diamond Green.

On the other hand, the Pro edition of the phone will be available at a starting price of Rs 18,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option will be selling at Rs 20,999. It is offered in Mocha Brown and Dreamy White colour options.

Smartphones are available on Flipkart, vivo India e-store, and partner retail stores. Consumers can get up to Rs 1500 instant cashback or 8 months zero down payment on select partners. Jio users can get free premium access to 10 OTT apps for 2 months on an Rs 1199 prepaid plan, and V-Shield protection.
