Oppo Find X9s confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor

The upcoming chipset is also confirmed to power the Poco X8 series.

The Oppo Find X9s would be the first smartphone in India to include MediaTek’s top-of-the-line Dimensity 9500s processor, which was released worldwide in January. This 3nm CPU supports LPDDR5X RAM and Wi-Fi 7. It is intended to compete with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. MediaTek made this announcement in New Delhi, revealing that the Find X9s will come out in the second quarter of 2026, along with other smartphones, including one in the new Poco X8 series.

During MediaTek Tech Day in Delhi, the company announced the release of its new chipsets, the Dimensity 9500s and Dimensity 8500. The company aims to enhance the performance, gameplay, and efficiency of high-end and flagship smartphones with these chipsets. Along with this news, OPPO said it would introduce the Find X9s smartphone in India. The Find X9s will be driven by the Dimensity 9500s, which will make the Find X9 series even better.

The Dimensity 9500s from MediaTek is a top-of-the-line system-on-chip (SoC) that was made with 3nm technology and an all-big-core architecture to be fast and use less power.

It has an octa-core CPU with one Cortex-X925 ultra core that can run at speeds of up to 3.73 GHz, three Cortex-X4 premium cores, and four Cortex-A720 performance cores. The Immortalis-G925 GPU built within the device makes mobile gaming more fun by rendering full frames and using powerful ray tracing.

The powerful neural processing unit (NPU) is optimised for generative reasoning and multi-modal models, which makes for a better camera experience and better content creation. The Dimensity 9500s has many great features, such as 8K Dolby Vision. HDR recording with real-time 30fps motion tracking via the MediaTek Imagiq ISP; improved energy efficiency through Adaptive Game Technology 3.0 and Frame Technology 3.0; a 5G Release-17 modem with 4CC-C A support that can reach speeds of up to 7 Gbps downlink; MediaTek 5G UltraSave 4.0 for power conservation; AI Network Suite 2.0 for better performance in low connectivity; and MediaTek Xtra Range 3.0 for better indoor Wi-Fi coverage and Bluetooth connections up to 5 kilometres.
