S26 Ultra Features, Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that stands out. It boasts a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 3,120 × 1,440 pixels. The display has 10-bit colour output, which makes colours more accurate. It uses Corning Gorilla Armor 2 to protect the screen. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor powers the Galaxy series smartphone. It comes with OneUI 8.5, which is based on Android 16, and can be set up with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Samsung has added new Galaxy AI functions to the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
- It includes a privacy display, which limits visibility beyond a 30-degree angle.
- Assist suggests actions depending on the information presented on the screen.
- Call Screen can handle unknown callers and provide live transcriptions of discussions.
- Photo Assist offers AI-powered image editing capabilities.
- Creative Studio contains tools for creating content.
- Bixby Device Agent enables you to change device settings using voice commands.
- Privacy Alerts alert consumers about data access through applications.
- AI noise reduction is accessible in certain third-party apps.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has four rear cameras: a 200-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor (f/1.4, optical image stabilisation), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (f/2.9, 5x optical zoom), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (f/1.9), and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4, 3x optical zoom). It enables 8K video recording, HDR10+ capture, and Super Steady Video. The front is a 12-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera that can shoot 4K video.
The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged with 60W wired (up from 45W) and 25W wireless chargers. It also works with Qi2 technology for quicker and easier charging.

Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ Specs and Features

The Galaxy S26 sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display (1,080×2,340 pixels) that can refresh at up to 120 Hz. The Galaxy S26+ has a bigger 6.7-inch display (1,440×3,120 pixels) that can also refresh at 120Hz. Both smartphones come with Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection.
With Samsung’s One UI 8.5 and Android 16, both phones use Samsung’s 2nm Exynos 2600 processor with a prime core that runs at 3.9GHz. They come with 256GB or 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.

The S26 and S26+ include three cameras on the back: a 50 MP wide-angle camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 10 MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, OIS, and 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. With an f/2.2 aperture, the front camera is a 12 MP wide-angle camera. The back cameras can capture 8K video at 24 or 30 frames per second and 4K video at 30 or 60 frames per second.

The Galaxy S26 has a 4,300 mAh battery, whereas the S26+ has a bigger 4,900 mAh battery. This means that the S26+ may be used for a longer period of time. Also, the charging speeds are different: the S26 can charge at 25W wired, while the S26+ can charge at 45W wired, which is faster.
