iPhone 17e, the most affordable Apple offering launched in India and globally: Price in India, Specs

It has the latest A19 chip, supports MagSafe, and runs iOS 26. The new phone has a 48-megapixel camera on the back and a 12-megapixel camera on the front. It also has Apple’s C1X and N1 networking CPUs. It sports a 60Hz, 6.1-inch OLED screen with a notch and 256GB of storage to start with and comes in black, soft pink, and white.

  • The base model of the iPhone 17e costs Rs 64,900 in India and comes with 256GB of storage.
  • You may get 512GB of storage for Rs 84,900.
  • The phone comes in three colours: black, soft pink, and white.
  • Buyers in India may pre-order the iPhone 17E via Apple’s website and authorised stores. The phone will go on sale on March 11.

Specifications and Features

The gadget has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a resolution of 1,170 × 2,532 pixels, which is the same as the one before it. The panel has a refresh rate of 60Hz and True Tone technology, which lets it become as bright as 800 nits. The iPhone 17e is stronger than the iPhone 16e because it has Ceramic Shield 2 protection, which makes it up to three times more resistant to scratches. It also keeps its IP68 classification, which means it can withstand dust and water, much like the model from last year.

It is powered by an A19 processor, which has a six-core CPU, a four-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, exhibiting impressive computing capabilities. The gadget has 8GB of RAM and storage options in 256GB and 512GB variants. The iPhone 17e runs the most recent iOS 26 operating system. An Action Button is featured, and it supports Apple Intelligence functions.

The Apple iPhone 17e has MagSafe functionality, which was previously unavailable in the iPhone 16e. This updated model has various charging options, including a 20W cable charger and a 15W wireless MagSafe charger.
