Realme 16 5G launching in India today: Expected pricing and specs

The Realme 16 5G is set to arrive in India today, adding to the current Realme 16 line, which already comprises the Pro and Pro+ variants. Several gadget features have been disclosed prior to its formal launch. Notably, the Realme 16 5G has a large 7,000mAh battery and 60W charging capability, indicating long-lasting use and speedy charging capabilities. Furthermore, the device’s global model has the Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC, which ensures strong performance and efficiency.

The Realme 16 5G India launch is set for today. The upcoming phone will be revealed via Flipkart in the country. The company has also created a dedicated microsite to reveal the specs of the smartphone.

Expected Price and Specs

Available colour options for the Realme 16 5G include Air Black and Air White.

Realme is yet to announce how much its new phone will cost. It is believed that the price of the Realme 16 5G in India would be less expensive than its costs across the world. The Realme 16 5G is now available in certain parts of the world, with the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model beginning at VND 11,490,000 (about Rs 40,000). It costs VND 12,490,000 (about Rs 44,000) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant.

The gadget will include a back camera module with a built-in selfie mirror that lets you see what you’re taking a picture of in real time. The phone is white and has a glass cover and a horizontal camera bar. It is meant to be light, and its design seems to be inspired by the iPhone Air and Google Pixel 10 series.

The Realme 16 5G has a 6.57-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen that can refresh at up to 120Hz, ensuring smooth visuals. It is resistant to dust and water thanks to its IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K classifications. The MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor within the gadget powers it and gives it excellent performance. The 7,000mAh battery lasts a long time and comes with 60W wired fast charging and reverse charging capabilities. The camera system also has two back cameras: a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
