Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE India launch date revealed: Details

This new launch will add to Vivo's current range of smartphones, which includes the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, which came out in December 2025.

Vivo has officially confirmed the India launch date its X300 Ultra and X300 FE smartphones that will be available next month. The X300 Ultra arrived in China in March, while the X300 FE is currently accessible in several regions across the world. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset in the X300 FE and the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC in the X300 Ultra are only two of the cutting-edge capabilities that both smartphones have. Both models will also have camera systems backed by Zeiss, which will improve their photographic expertise.

The Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE will be launching in India on May 6 at noon IST. You can pick from three different colours for the Vivo X300 FE: Lilac Purple, Noir Black, and Urban Olive. The gadget has an AG finish that makes it easier to hold, and it is just 7.99 mm thick and weighs 191 grams.

There will be two colour options for the Vivo X300 Ultra: Eclipse Black and Victory Green. The Indian version of the gadget is rumoured to have a distinctive camera-inspired design with a knurled texture and a split finish that makes it look and feel better.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU powers the Vivo X300 FE, and it has LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage technology to back it up. This mix promises to be very fast and effective. The smartphone also has a great 6,500mAh battery that can charge at 90W wired and 40W wireless speeds. This means that buyers may use it for a long time without having to stop and charge it often.

The Vivo X300 Ultra has a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak touch sampling rate of 300Hz. It uses face recognition technology and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the screen.

The Ultra smartphone features a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and an Adreno 840 GPU, making it highly appealing. Its Vivo VS1+ imaging chip significantly enhances its photography capabilities. Equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, it offers ample space and speed. The device operates on Vivo’s OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, ensuring an improved user experience.

The Vivo X300 Ultra features an impressive camera setup. It includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor by Zeiss with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The device also sports a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS, enabling 3.7x optical zoom and up to 105x digital zoom. The front camera has a 50-megapixel sensor and supports 4K video recording.

The back cameras can capture video in up to 8K. The device also works with teleconverter attachments to improve zoom features. For example, the “Big Gun” 400 teleconverter has a focal length of 400mm, an optical output of 200 megapixels, and an optical zoom of 17.4x. With advanced stabilisation and fast focusing, you may zoom in to 1600mm without losing picture stability. The “Lipstick” 200 teleconverter is a smaller variant that offers better optics, stabilisation, and several shooting modes.

The Vivo X300 Ultra has a powerful 6,600mAh battery that allows for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, as well as reverse charging capability. It includes extensive connection choices, such as 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.
