OnePlus has started teasing the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 in India with teaser posters on Amazon India and OnePlus’s own official platforms that read, “Coming Soon”. That hints at an official launch for the regular Nord Buds 4 being just around the corner. The new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are a less advanced version of the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro, which had previously been launched in India on March 19, 2026, for Rs 3,999. The Pro edition is now available for purchase at retail stores.

Here’s everything confirmed and anticipated so far regarding the new affordable TWS earbuds:

The Nord Buds 4 are strategically positioned lower than the premium Nord Buds 4 Pro, which was launched in March for Rs 3,999.

To retain a competitive edge in India’s affordable category, the regular version of the Nord Buds 4 is expected to be priced around Rs 3,000, maybe even around Rs 2,999. Although OnePlus has not announced a specific debut date, the earbuds are expected to be introduced with the OnePlus Nord N6 smartphone, indicating a late June or early July availability.

The teaser images for the next OnePlus Nord Buds 4 show a similar design language to its predecessor, seen in the in-ear shape with silicone ear tips and a short, stem-like design with integrated touch-control indents for ease of usage. While the commercials mostly feature the buds in a black silhouette, social media teasers from OnePlus India have hinted at a separate colour option – a trademark Nord teal/cyan colourway.

Additionally, there’s a major shift hinted at in the charging case design; early leaks claim that the Nord Buds 4 will come with a newly designed rectangular pebble-shaped charging case, moving away from the previous oval design found in the Nord Buds 3.

The new Nord Buds 4 are said to provide better audio performance, with a dual-driver configuration consisting of an 11mm woofer and a 6mm flat diaphragm tweeter on each earbud. The two customised digital-to-analogue converters (DACs) assist this design by improving the frequency separation. The gadget is intended to democratise high-quality audio and has support for premium codecs like LHDC 5.0, which can provide wireless bitrates up to 1 Mbps at 24-bit/192 kHz resolution and is compatible with OnePlus 3D Audio.

Also, the Nord Buds 4 will come with powerful Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) featuring real-time dynamic ANC tech, adjusting up to 800 times per second for an outstanding noise reduction performance of up to 55dB. The feature also includes an adaptive transparency mode and three-mic AI for phone calls.
