The budget segment of smartphones is getting thicker by the day. Videocon, the Indian smartphone manufacturer has contributed to the budget Android smartphone sphere with its new mobile called Z55 Dash. This smartphone is available in two colour options, which consists of Black with Gold and White with Silver.

On the specification front, the Videocon Z55 Dash flaunts a 5-inch HD display. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. Powering the smartphone is a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The on-board storage of the smartphone accounts to 8GB that can be expanded further via microSD card up to 32GB.
The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Videocon Z55 Dash has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video-calling and seleifies. The smartphone also features protective Camera Lens made of Corning Glass with Dual Anti Reflective Coating to enhance picture quality. The device offers 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, microUSB, GPS and Bluetooth as connectivity options and it packs a 2,200 mAh battery to keep it alive for long.
The company has priced the new Videocon Z55 Dash at Rs 6,490 and it will soon be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart.
