HTC launches One M9e smartphone with octa-core SoC, 13MP camera

The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of One M9e in China. The company has priced the device of $425 (Approx. Rs 27,600) and it will be available in Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Silver color options.

Talking about the specifications, the HTC One M9e flaunts a 5-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The device comes with dual SIM support and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system topped with the Sense UI of the company. The handset is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTekHelio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM.

The on-board storage of the mobile phone stands at 16GB which can be further expanded up to 2TB with the help of microSD card. The smartphone comes equipped with dual front facing BoomSound speakers powered by Dolby audio. The handset sports a 13.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an Ultrapixel front facing snapper for clicking selfies. The connectivity attributes of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and it houses a 2,840 mAh battery.
