Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20 smartphones set to launch in India today

A month after launching its Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro smartphones, the Chinese smartphone brand is all set to get the handsets in India. The handsets are the company’s flagship smartphones and they come with features like quad cameras and 30X zooming capabilities. The smartphones in the Honor 20 are the successor of the Honor 10 series that the company launched earlier. Today, the company is all set to launch its Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 smartphones in India. Here are all the details and specifications of the devices that you should know about:

Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro launch details

The two smartphones will be launched by Honor at 11:30 am today. The company is live-streaming the launch event. You can head to the Chinese smartphone brand’s YouTube channel or watch it here as we have embedded it too.

Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20 price in India (expected)

The Honor 20 Pro smartphone‘s lone 8GB RAM variant is priced at EUR 599, which is approximately Rs 46,500. The Honor 20 smartphone, one the other hand, can be bought at EUR 499, which is approximately Rs 38,800. In India too, the pricing of the two smartphones is expected to be more or less the same.

Honor 20 Pro specifications

Honor 20 Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.1.0 baked on top and features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ display. The device is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 SoC clubbed with GPU Turbo 3.0. Honor’s offering comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

On the imaging front, the handset comes with a quad camera setup on its back panel with 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary sensor, a 16MP super wide angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone’s camera comes with up to 30X zoom. There is a 32MP front-facing camera on the device that can be used for selfies and video calls

The device houses 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W Honor Super Charge support.

Honor 20 specifications

A number of specifications of the Honor 20 are the same as its elder sibling’s. The mobile phone has a 6.26-inch full-HD+ all-view display that has punch-hole cutout to house the selfoe camera. Powered by the same processor as Honor 20 Pro, the smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM.

It sports a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP super-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth-assisting sensor and a 2MP sensor. Honor 20 only comes with 128GB of storage and it packs a 3,750mAh battery with support for 22.5W SuperCharge technology.
