Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro with ANC and 3-speed noise reduction mode launched

The TWS earbuds come with Qi wireless charging support

After teasing for a long time, Xiaomi officially unveiled its latest TWS earbud in the market. The company has introduced Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in China. These earbuds feature an active noise reduction of 40dB. It comes with a stem design and in-ear tips similar to Apple’s AirPods. In addition to this, it supports fast charging and Qualcomm AptX Adaptive dynamic codec protocol.

Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro features

Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro is the company’s most premium noise-cancelling headset. The device features 11mm super dynamic drivers and is powered by a QCC5151 chip. The device comes integrated with an independent noise reduction chip that brings a maximum 40dB deep noise reduction effect. This feature is said to block up to  99% of background noise. Moreover, the earphones support a 3-speed noise reduction mode- Daily mode, Office mode, and Air Travel mode. The Daily mode blocks outdoor noise such as carriage noise and human conversation when in the subway or in a train. The Office mode filters out light noises such as computer operations, air conditioning motors and more. Whereas, the Air Travel mode effectively reduces the large loudness and low-frequency roar of the aircraft while maintaining the balance of ear pressure.

Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro

Apart from this, the FlipBuds Pro has support for dual transparency mode which also lets you pay attention to the surrounding environment while you enjoy listening to music. The voice enhancement can be set separately to keep the voice clearer so that you can communicate free while wearing the earphones. On the other hand, the dual device smart connection allows the FlipBuds to connect to up to two devices at the same time. You can attend voice calls while enjoying videos or music on your laptop.

The Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro has support for Bluetooth v5.2 along with Bluetooth Low Energy, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, and SPP as connectivity options. As the TWS earphones are touch-enabled so you can control music with the touch gestures easily. Whereas the ANC can be enabled or disabled on long pressing the earbuds.

The device also supports Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive dynamic codec protocol support and with Bluetooth 5.2 technology, it brings a low-latency game audio and video experience, playing games, watching movies, audio and video synchronization.

The TWS earbuds are said to deliver 2 hours of music playback in just 5 minutes of charge. And the battery life can reach 28 hours with the charging case. In addition to this, the earbuds support Qi wireless charging.

Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro pricing

The price of the Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro is set at CNY 799 that translates to Rs 9,100. The device will be available in a single black colour option. It is scheduled to go on sale in China starting May 21 and currently, they are up for pre-orders.
