Create a passkey on WhatsApp
Step 1: Launch the WhatsApp app on your device and tap the ellipses at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap on Settings.
Step 3: Select Account.
Step 4: Tap on Passkeys.
Step 5: Select Create a Passkey.
Step 6: Choose what kind of passkey you want to create. You can set up a PIN, fingerprint, or face unlock. You can set up the same PIN as your phone’s lock screen or choose a different code.
If you already use fingerprint or face unlock for your phone’s lock screen, you won’t have to set them up again for the passkey.
Step 7: To disable a passkey on WhatsApp, simply go back to Passkeys in Account settings and hit Revoke.
