Just as expected, Apple has also formally announced the dates for the next WWDC 2024 conference. Google previously disclosed the information about I/O 2024. As per the announcement, the Worldwide Developers Conference is scheduled to take place from June 10- June 14. The company released a teaser featuring its advertising slogan “Absolutely Incredible.” The abbreviation for the tagline “AI” indicates that artificial intelligence will be the primary focus of this year’s tech conference. So this year’s WWDC will be interesting to watch how Apple intends to fight in the AI space against OpenAI, Google, and other industry titans.
The WWDC 2024 keynote and sessions will once again be streamed live online by Apple, making it free for developers to access. Traditionally, Apple hosts a developer-only keynote on the opening day of the conference, introducing its most recent software and occasionally new hardware. On June 10 Apple is going to host an offline event at its Apple Park location in Cupertino, California, for a limited number of developers and students. You can go to the Apple Events page or Apple’s YouTube page to watch the Apple WWDC 2024 keynote live.

On June 10, developers will be able to attend the keynote at Apple Park, meet with Apple team members, and participate in exclusive activities as part of the in-person WWDC24 experience. There will be a limited number of spaces available so participants should visit the Apple Developer website and app for information on how to apply.
What is Expected?
Going by the company’s tradition, the firm’s CEO Tim Cook will present the WWDC 2024 keynote. It is also expected that Apple will discuss AI in public as it has been quiet about its views on generative AI, even while rivals like Microsoft and Google have unveiled new AI features and services. It is rumoured that Apple is developing custom GenAI features that will be integrated into the next iPhone 16 Series. Apple has developed a chatbot that is said to be called Apple GPT internally. The tech giant has also designed its own large language model, or LLM, framework called Ajax.
