Samsung today expanded its F-Series portfolio with the launch of Galaxy F55 5G in India. One of the smartphone’s greatest features is its design. You can get a vegan leather finish for less than Rs 30,000. Along with a 50-megapixel sensor, an sAMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC CPU, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capability, it also boasts a promising camera configuration.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G has launched in India at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option, whereas the price of the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option will be available with a price tag of Rs 29,999. Lastly, the price of the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage is set at Rs 32,999. The device is offered in two colour variants available: Apricot Crush (with leather finish) and Raisin Black.

The device will be available for purchase via the company’s official website and Flipkart and across select retail stores from this evening at 7 PM.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ sAMOLED Plus screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1080 pixels. The display features a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness level of 1,000 nits. The handset is stuffed with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 1TB. It operates on One UI 6.0, which is based on the Android 14 out of the box. The phone is promised to come with four years of software upgrades and five years of security fixes. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and Knox Security software.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G features a triple-rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation OIS support. The camera system also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The mobile phone sports a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The handset has a 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
