CMF Phone 1 to feature a Super AMOLED display, chipset details also revealed

Along with other device details, a tipster has also claimed the panel's size and more characteristics.

On July 8, Nothing’s next Community Update will introduce the CMF Phone 1, the company’s first smartphone. In the days preceding the unveiling, CMF is releasing one key spec of the smartphone every day, starting with the display specifications and then confirming the chipset details. The upcoming device has been listed on Flipkart where it has revealed that the CMF Phone 1 will have a Super AMOLED display.

Prior to the release, CMF has been steadily disclosing important information about Phone 1 through teases. After revealing the display specs the company has today confirmed CMF Phone 1’s chipset. The upcoming device will use MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC, with its 8-core architecture and cutting-edge 4nm process from TSMC.

A 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support for brilliant colours is what the CMF Phone 1 is said to have. The CMF Phone 1 will also offer a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits for outdoor visibility. Deeper blacks are available without light leakage thanks to the display’s ability to turn off individual pixels.

A tipster named Yogesh Brar has disclosed that the CMF Phone 1 will have a 6.7-inch sAMOLED LTPS screen with FHD+ resolution. An adjustable refresh rate ranging from 30-120Hz will be available, with a maximum brightness of 2000 nits. Inbuilt fingerprint scanning and a 16MP selfie camera are possible features of the phone. A Sony sensor, a depth sensor, and a 50MP primary camera will also be included. Expected features of the phone include AI Vivid mode, EIS, and 4K30 FPS video recording. Anticipated features of the phone include AI Vivid mode, EIS, and 4K30 FPS video recording. Rumour has claimed that the handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC.

Furthermore, CMF is likely to introduce a smartphone with 6/8GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and a microSD card that allows for 2TB of additional storage. The gadget is said to run the basic Nothing OS on Android 14, which will receive two years of OS upgrades and three years of security patches. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities might be included with the phone. Additionally, it could also have mono speakers and IP52 dust and water resistance.

Alongside CMF Phone 1, the brand will also launch Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2, further expanding its portfolio.
