Samsung Galaxy Ring likely to bring biomonitoring functions like skin temperature measurement and more

Samsung’s Galaxy Ring, a wearable technology, was showcased at MWC 2024. The smart ring is set to launch at Galaxy Unpacked on July 10. The business has shown a few glimpses of its smart ring so far, and it is expected to launch with a slew of biomonitoring features such as skin temperature measurement, snore detection, and more. With just 10 days to launch, an APK teardown of the Samsung Health app uncovered all of these capabilities.

A lot of rumours and leaks are circulating about the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled for next week. Along with the latest foldable, the company will officially release its new wearable Galaxy Ring. However, we already knew how the future device would look, but we now have further information about its features. According to a report Samsung’s Health app is likely to enable the Galaxy Ring’s health-monitoring features. Although the firm has not enabled them for the public at the moment, they emerged following an APK teardown of the Samsung Health app.

As per the report, the upcoming Galaxy Ring may allow users to monitor their stress and heart rate. Moreover, the Health app also has a chart for tracking the parameters. In addition to this, the dedicated app will also bring other features like skin temperature measurement, period prediction and snore detection. Note that these features are already accessible on the Galaxy Watches and will be made available to the Galaxy Ring.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring was initially introduced to the public during the Mobile World Congress 2024. During the event, the firm showed the ring in silver. While demonstrating the smart ring, the firm disclosed that it will be available in three colours.
