Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco launched the Poco M6 Plus 5G today in India, expanding its M-Series portfolio. The recently announced 5G smartphone contains all of the features you’re seeking without breaking the bank. Yes, it has a glass back with a ring flash design and a 108MP 3x in-sensor zoom AI Dual Camera. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 Accelerated Edition (AE) Mobile Platform and runs HyperOS out of the box.

Poco M6 Plus 5G price in India, availability

The price of Poco M6 Plus 5G in India starts at Rs 11,999 for the base 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and Rs 13,499 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option. Note that this is the launch pricing which is only valid for the first day of sale and includes Rs 1,000 offers on SBI, HDFC, and ICICI Banks and an exclusive Rs 500 coupon on the 6+128GB variant. The device will be available in Ice Silver, Misty Lavender, and Graphite Black colour options. It is scheduled to go on sale on August 5 via Flipkart in the country.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G features a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with 2400×1080 pixels of resolution. The screen supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and boasts TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, guaranteeing enhanced eye comfort. The panel is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The 5G smartphone operates on HyperOS, an Android 14 operating system. Furthermore, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 CPU will power the M6 Plus 5G. The handset also boasts faster UFS 2.2 storage and up to 16GB of RAM, including 8GB of virtual RAM, for effortless multitasking

A dual rear camera setup with ring LED is featured on the back of the phone in addition to a dual-tone design. A 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and support for a 3x in-sensor zoom is part of the camera setup. The phone will also include a 13-megapixel front camera with f/1.75 aperture for taking selfies and making video calls. Both cameras support 1080p and 720p video recording at 30fps.
For additional security, the Poco M6 Plus 5G has a fingerprint sensor positioned on the side.

It is IP53-rated for protection from dust and splashes. The Poco M6 Plus 5G is equipped with a 5030mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology. The device supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, providing dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and supports dual SIM functionality. In addition to this, there is a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm jack and a single speaker.
