Redmi has introduced a new entry-level smartphone in the Indian market. Redmi A3x has already made its global debut in June this year and has now arrived in the country as well. The A-Series phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery. The device features a 6.71-inch HD+ display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a circular rear camera module consisting of dual sensors.

The Redmi A3x is available in two storage options: 3GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, with prices starting at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 in India. It comes in three colours and is available on Amazon India and the company’s official website.

The 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD display of the Redmi A3x boasts a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 1650×720 pixels. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A Unisoc T603 chipset and Mali G57 MP1 GPU power the gadget. It comes with 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage that can be expanded to 1TB with a dedicated microSDXC slot, and up to 4GB LPDDR4x RAM.

The Redmi A3x comes pre-installed with the MIUI based on Android 14, which is supported for three years along with significant OS updates every two years. An 8MP primary sensor and a QVGA (0.08MP) auxiliary lens are housed in the dual rear camera module of the Redmi A3x. For taking selfies and making video calls, it has a 5MP camera on the front.
A 5,000mAh battery that can handle 10W charging fuels the mobile phone. It features an AI face unlock feature and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication. A 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, and GPS are the connectivity options available on the device.
