Apple has introduced a new App Store feature known as ‘win-back offers’, which allows developers to offer discounts to former users in order to urge them to renew their subscriptions. These discounts are only available for auto-renewable subscriptions and can be applied to customers who have recently discontinued their subscriptions. The function is intended to target users who are currently not subscribers to the app’s services.
‘Win-back offers’ is a new feature in the App Store that Apple introduced that lets developers ask users to resubscribe to their app or game. These deals, which come with plans that renew automatically, let developers give past customers discounts to entice them to buy a subscription. The method is intended to reach users who have stopped using the app’s services, and previous users may be presented with a special offer that could persuade them to purchase a new subscription. Only memberships that automatically renew will be eligible for the deals.
