In order to increase its linguistic diversity and allow users to generate content in their local languages, Adobe Express has released feature enhancements in eight Indian languages. Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu are now supported via the Translate tool on desktop, web, and mobile devices.
With the latest improvements to its Adobe Express content creation app, Adobe has made it possible for users to create designs in additional regional Indian languages. These languages are now supported by Adobe Express for Desktop Web’s Translate function. Eight Indian languages—Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu—are currently supported by the interface.
Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President, Adobe Express and Digital Media Services, “At Adobe, we’re constantly innovating our products to make our powerful design tools accessible to more people. With millions of active users, Adobe Express is seeing rapid adoption in India, and we’re excited to double down on this diverse market’s fast-expanding content creation requirements by introducing user interface and translation features in multiple Indian languages.”
According to the firm, this enables anyone in India—students or content creators—to quickly and simply create localised versions of flyers, resumes, banners, logos, and more by utilising Adobe Express’s GenAI tools, which are powered by Adobe Firefly and include Generate Image and Generative Fill.
This function increases efficiency, facilitates simple navigation, and lets users peruse pertinent features and templates, which speeds up the completion of tasks. It is anticipated that the new generative AI-powered features will improve user experience.
Adobe Express provides a premium Translate tool, which is presently free for a limited time. This feature allows users to easily translate text across single and multi-page files, removing the need for manual translations and third-party apps. This feature enhances accessibility and customisation, allowing users to take advantage of Adobe Express’ large collection of English templates.
The user interface is now available in Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali, providing an intuitive experience. It also has text-element translation, which allows users to specify which elements are translated, and multi-page translation, which streamlines workflows by translating content across multiple pages.
