Apple introduced Business Caller ID service just like Truecaller

According to Apple companies can register themselves on Business Caller ID with their name, logo, and department. This will help users identify who’s calling.

Apple is creating “Business Caller ID,” a caller ID service that will assist users in combating spam calls. The program will allow companies to register their names, logos, and departments on the platform, allowing consumers to see who is calling. This effort is part of Apple’s continuous efforts to enhance the user experience and security.

David Dorn, Apple’s senior director of Internet Software and Services Product said, “We’re excited to offer all businesses — including those without a physical location — the ability to create a brand that appears across the Apple apps that over a billion people use every day. We designed Business Connect to empower businesses to present the best, most accurate information to Apple users. With today’s updates, we’re helping even more businesses reach customers, build trust, and grow.”

Business Connect enables businesses, regardless of location, to register and develop a visual brand identity, increasing client connection and trust building, whether they provide services or operate online. Businesses will be able to display their brand in the Mail and Phone applications, as well as customise their logo for Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Branded Mail allows businesses to include their brand name and logo in emails, making them more recognisable and distinguishable in the Mail app. Sign-up is open, and their branding will appear to customers later this year.

When receiving payments with Tap to Pay on iPhone, businesses may display their logo rather than a category sign, informing customers that the transaction is secure and validated.

Beginning next year, Apple will let companies register for Business Caller ID, which will display their name, logo, and department on the inbound call screen, avoiding spam and unwanted outreach.
