ViewSonic has introduced the LX700-4K RGB Laser Projector, the world’s first ceiling-mounted projector using RGB laser technology. This gadget covers the whole BT.2020 colour gamut, giving bright, lifelike colours for a truly immersive viewing experience. It also supports 4K UHD, HDR, and HLG, making it a flexible investment.

According to the company, the ViewSonic LX700-4K RGB Laser Projector’s cutting-edge RGB laser technology delivers brilliant pictures with 100% coverage of the BT.2020 colour gamut, resulting in a lifelike and immersive viewing experience. With 5,200 RGB Laser Lumens, it provides bright and crisp details, making it ideal for home cinema aficionados.

The projector is supposed to offer 4K resolution with HDR/HLG compatibility, resulting in clear, detailed pictures. It also offers a high native contrast ratio, which is driven by a 0.65-inch DMD chip and improves details in dark settings, offering a cinema-quality experience. It employs Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, which is utilised in IMAX theatres and 90% of digital cinemas globally, to ensure long-term image quality.

The LX700-4K RGB projector meets high-quality gaming standards for consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation, with a QHD 1440p @ 120Hz resolution, a 4.2ms ultra-fast input, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a microsecond reaction time. It produces fluid, detailed visuals even during fast-paced action and performs smoothly without losing image quality. This projector is ideal for home gaming.

The LX700-4K RGB projector can project pictures up to 300″ wide, extending big-screen entertainment beyond OLED TVs’ 100″ restriction. It has many installation choices, 1.6x optical zoom, and a vertical lens shift mechanism for fine-tuning. The projector also has horizontal and vertical keystone correction, as well as 4-corner adjustment, which allows for perfect symmetry and form even when the projector is off-centre. These characteristics provide a smooth setup, optimum screen fit, and easy placement, making it an adaptable option for home entertainment.
