Comparison: Samsung Galaxy S25 Vs Galaxy S25+

Let's see how the two phones stack up against one another.

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 series, featuring three models: the vanilla S25, the Galaxy S25 Plus, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Although there aren’t many hardware improvements this year, the Galaxy’s Snapdragon 8 Elite does enhance the battery and photography. The Samsung Galaxy S25 is a thinner, lighter phone with better AI capabilities and a longer battery life. In contrast to the standard model, the Plus variant has a slightly larger screen and battery. However, the question still stands: will a larger screen and battery be sufficient to persuade consumers to spend more on the Plus rather than the ordinary Galaxy S25? Let’s see how the two phones stack up against one another.

Our Take

Like the S25+, the Galaxy S Plus has always been an upgraded version of the standard device. Given that there is virtually no size difference between the S25 and S25+, the designs of the vanilla S25 and the Plus variant are nearly identical. The aluminium and glass used in both phones are identical. Both phones are water and dust-resistant (IP68).
The display is the biggest difference between the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+. The Galaxy S25 has a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels of resolution. The Galaxy S25+, on the other hand, has a larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 1,440 x 3,120 pixels. Both models support a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 2,600nits.

Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ are Android 15-based smartphones with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB LPDDR5x RAM. Available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants. OS and security updates for the devices will be provided for seven years. Additionally, the phone has Google Gemini features in Samsung apps and new Galaxy AI features like Now Brief and Night Video with Audio Eraser, which are available in the Galaxy S25 series.

However, the camera specifications of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are identical. The 4,900 mAh battery of the Galaxy S25+ is somewhat larger than the 4,000 mAh battery of the Galaxy S25. While the Galaxy S25 Plus keeps its 45W charging speed from the previous generation, the Galaxy S25 regular supports 25W wired charging.

All things considered, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is the greatest flagship Android device.
