Acer to soon launch its home entertainment segment in India

Acer has stepped up its game to enter the home entertainment segment as well.

Acer is one of the most recognised brands in India as well as globally, selling its computing products. Acer has been making tons of products in India like laptops, monitors, smart cameras, projectors, and smart speakers. The company planned to step up its game by debuting the smart television under the licence of a Bengaluru based company Indkal Technologies. Here is every detail we know about the latest tech collaboration.

Acer announced that with the help of Indkal Technologies it will offer a different range of televisions in India. From the smallest 32-inch screen to the largest 70-inches. All the television products will be available on eCommerce websites like Amazon and Flipkart. As of now, the company has not yet declared any specifications related to its offering. Indkal is expected to share the pricing as well as specifications soon. These smart TVs are likely to go on sale around mid-September.

Anand Dubey, CEO, Indkal Technology told the media that the need for home entertainment has widely grown over the last 12 months. This makes it the best time for Acer to enter the market as for the current surge, the sale is expected to grow till Diwali.
