Umang is actually an app that every Indian citizen should install. It brings together the services of a number of government departments. The app has been developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD). The key services of the Umang app include Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and PayGov. New services are also added time and again on the platform.
