7 new features Apple has rolled out to iPhones, iPads, MacBooks and HomePods

Apple has released its latest iOS 12.1.1 update across its products in all ranges. The iOS 12.1.1 update has reached iPhones, iPads and iPod touch, and macOS Mojave 10.14.2 and HomePod 12.1.1 has come to Mac models and HomePods respectively. Here are a few new features that you should know about:

1Expanded dual e-SIM support

The most important change that comes with iOS 12.1.1 update is specifically meant for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. At the time when this year’s lineup was launched, the dual SIM support on the iPhones could only for a select few carriers. But with the update, it has been extended to additional carriers as well. We’ll update you about the new carriers supported in India as soon as there is an official word on it. With dual e-SIM, iPhone users can use two SIM cards, but the second one has to be a virtual SIM.
