Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO Review: The Smartest Way To Quench Your Thirst

Aquaguard Ritz Pro promises next-level smart purification, but does it deliver?

In a world where even refrigerators can tweet and ovens are smarter than your average uncle, it’s hardly surprising that water purifiers have joined the intelligent revolution. Meet the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO, a device that isn’t just content with purifying water but is determined to make your hydration habits smarter, healthier, and yes, a bit trendier. Boasting advanced features like SMART purification, 9-stage filtration, and intuitive IoT capabilities, this purifier might just become your kitchen’s new best friend. This is the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO Review you should not miss.

Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO Review: Design

First impressions matter, and the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO certainly knows how to make one. The purifier sports a sleek and compact body crafted from high-quality Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, dressed in all black with a hint of bronze. Its minimalist yet premium aesthetics blend effortlessly into both modern and traditional kitchens.

At dimensions of 32L x 27.9W x 48H centimetres and weighing around 7 kilograms, it won’t dominate your countertop or wall space. The purifier offers versatile installation options, accommodating both wall mounting and tabletop setups.

The display panel is straightforward yet futuristic, showcasing real-time TDS levels both entering and exiting the device. With indicators for filter life and water intake tracking accessible through the Eureka Forbes app, this purifier doesn’t just sit pretty; it communicates proactively with you.

To dispense water, there is a large tab panel up front that can be pressed inwards or outwards for a steady flow. Compared to other RO competing models, the outward flow is slightly slower. Coming from a RO that can fill a 1-litre water bottle very quickly, this one takes a little bit of time. So best to put the bottle under it and pull the dispenser tab out. Otherwise, your arm might get tired.

Another bright point about this RO is that it uses a steel tank (5-litre capacity) to store water. This is great as steel is much better than plastic tanks. Plus, the RO has copper in it, which is known for its health benefits.

Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO Review: Performance

At the heart of the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO lies its robust 9-stage purification process. This impressive setup includes a Mega Sediment Filter, High Recovery RO membrane cartridge, UV purification, and the star of the show, the 3-in-1 Active Copper technology. The result? Water that’s as pure as your grandmother’s intentions, free from 99.9999% bacteria and 99.99% viruses.

But purification is just the starting line. With Titanium Duo Filter Technology, the Ritz Pro offers a remarkable filter life of two years or 10,000 litres, provided your input TDS remains under 1000. Notably, the advanced RO membrane technology increases water recovery by up to 40% while enhancing filtration speed by 60%.

Another standout feature is its built-in SMART capabilities. Syncing effortlessly with the Eureka Forbes app, the purifier keeps you informed with real-time device health checks through a comprehensive 21-point scan. It monitors everything from filter health and water quality to your hydration patterns. Forget manually checking filters; the device smartly books service requests automatically, letting you sip your water in peace.

In our tests, this RO stood out; the input TDS of over 500 was filtered down to under 90, which is incredible. In some cases, even under 70. However, the input TDS shown on the RO is not always accurate; we tested the incoming water with another TDS meter, and there was a mismatch of over 100 TDS points (our TDS meter was showing 100-125 less).

But the output TDS of water was on point, which actually matters the most. Both the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO panel and our TDS meter showed similar, if not the same, results.

Also, let’s touch a little more on the setup part. The person who came from Aquaguard to install the RO, Mr Saleem, was very polite, and he knew what he was doing. Within 30 minutes, he removed the previous RO and installed this one. He checked everything for leaks, and the best part, he used scissors and not his mouth to cut tapes or anything else. Yes, people who use their mouths to cut tapes, etc, do gross us out, then there is the case of hygiene.

Setting up the Eureka Forbes app and connecting the RO to the Wi-Fi was child’s play. The whole Wi-Fi setup takes about 10 mins. The front panel of the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO and the app show how many litres of water is being dispensed from the RO daily. This is great to understand your drinking water consumption. The app will also show a filter

Lastly, if the RO is in idle mode, it will just show you the time. This again you do not need to set up, since it is connected to the WiFi and the app, the time is set automatically.

Verdict

At Rs 17,499 (plus additional Rs 2,000 off via coupons or bank cards), the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO is an impressive fusion of smart technology and superior purification performance. Its smart app connectivity, outstanding filter lifespan, and efficient water recovery clearly place it ahead of traditional purifiers. But, as with all things tech, it’s essential to evaluate whether these advanced features match your specific needs.

In a market crowded with devices promising clean water, the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO stands apart by offering intelligence that’s practical, not gimmicky. Its advanced monitoring capabilities make water safety transparent, literally at your fingertips. If investing in your family’s health and hydration with smart convenience appeals to you, this purifier might be the smartest kitchen upgrade you make this year.
