Pureit Revito Prime RO Review: Pure Drinking Water

Hindustan Unilever has become a leading name when it comes to RO’s and we got our hands on its latest.

In a world where safe drinking water is of paramount importance, HUL Pureit Revito Prime RO emerges as a game-changer, boasting the revolutionary DURAViva technology. With its 7-stage purification process and unparalleled features, it stands tall as the epitome of excellence in water purification. We have been drinking pure water from the said RO for some time now and this is our review of the Pureit Revito Prime Mineral RO. Does it stand out of the crowded pack? Let’s find out.

At the heart of Pureit Revito Prime lies the DURAViva technology, meticulously crafted and WQA-certified. Independently tested, it excels in eliminating heavy metals, ensuring every drop of water is safe for consumption, providing peace of mind to households.

One of the standout features of Pureit Revito Prime is its impressive capacity, purifying up to 8000 liters of water (after which filter changes are needed), a significant advancement compared to other leading RO purifiers, which can do between 6,000-7,000 liters. Moreover, its exceptional water-saving capabilities, boasting up to 70 percent efficiency, make it an environmentally conscious choice without compromising on performance.

Pureit Revito Prime RO goes beyond mere purification; it enriches water with essential minerals like calcium and magnesium, ensuring not only safety but also health benefits. We tested out the before and after quality of water as we get both boring as well as municipal water and on both counts the TDS came below 80, which is better than the RO we were using before. In some cases, it came to 65, too.

The company claims this RO is equipped with in-tank UV sterilization, Pureit Revito Prime eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and cysts. Which is great if you are getting water from a bore well.

When we talk about the design, the Pureit Revito Prime has Smartsense indicators that provide timely alerts, ensuring filter replacement is never overlooked. There are 4 indicators located on the front of the device, which tell you when it is time to replace inside or outside filters. The top indicator lights up when the tank is full.

One thing that is brilliant in the Pureit Revito Prime Mineral RO is that it pushes out water very fast and also refills the tank very quickly. We timed it and the 8-litre capacity tank refilled within 20 minutes. This is much faster than yesterday’s Aquaguard and Kent RO, which take 30-45 mins to fill a tank of 8 litres.

However, there is a slight design flaw in this RO. To take out water you have to push back a transparent plastic lever (located at the bottom, using the utensil) and fill it. However, the lever comes back with a jerk and a little bit of water gets spilled. The other way of getting water is to pull out the plastic lever towards you and it stays in place. This lever goes under the water dispensing mouth and comes to the front and also goes back the same way. Both times, it hits the water stream, which ends up in water spillage all over. So keep a paper towel hand around the device for cleaning if you are filling a water bottle or smaller utensils. Also, we would have appreciated if the power cable was longer.

Other than that, we quite liked its design. The Pureit Revito Prime RO boasts premium design elements and features. From its sleek glossy black and silver exterior to its food-grade plastic construction, every aspect exudes good quality.

The setup process was very simple and if you already have an old RO in the house that you are replacing with this one, then it is even simpler. HUL will send their technicians to your house to set it up and within 10-15 minutes you will be ready to drink good pure water.

Priced at Rs 17,989, Pureit Revito Prime will give you safe, healthy, and refreshing drinking water, day after day. If you are in the market for a new RO then this is a great device that can give you pure drinking water very quickly.
