Vivo T3 Pro Review: Aesthetically pleasing and balanced performance

Read the entire review if you're considering purchasing the Vivo T3 Pro or simply want to know more about this phone.

The Vivo T3 Pro, which retails for Rs 24,999, is the fourth smartphone in the company’s T3 Series. Before this, the Vivo T3 Lite, T3X, and T3 were introduced in India priced under Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000. After using the Vivo T3 Pro for seven days, we will provide you with a review in this post. We’ll review everything you need to know about this phone, including how well it shoots images and videos, its gaming performance, and much more.

In addition, we’ll be honest about whether the Vivo T3 Pro is worth the money. Therefore, read the entire review if you’re considering purchasing the Vivo T3 Pro or simply want to know more about this phone.

Vivo T3 Pro Review: Design and Display

The Vivo T3 Pro comes in plain-looking white packaging. You will find the gadget itself, the user manual, and other documents inside. A clear, high-quality cover has been included. An 80W flash charger, a SIM ejector tool, and a USB A to Type C charging cable are included.

This phone has a 5,500mAh battery. Before we even looked at it, we thought it would be thick and heavy, but it weighs 190g and measures 163.72 x 75.0 x 7.99mm. Its sleek form factor makes it feel like a high-end, handy gadget, and the curved front display and the curved back sides make it fit perfectly in our hands.

We have the Sandstone Orange colour option with a vegan leather finish for the review. We believe that Vivo has taken care of little details, such as the metallic frame around the camera module, which improves the phone’s overall look. The phone’s side frames and camera framing are both golden, which goes really nicely with the orange hue.

In addition, the phone has an emerald green back; however, it lacks the vegan leather finish and just has a polycarbonate back. But looks are subjective, and because everyone has different tastes, you are free to choose the version that appeals to you.

The firm has also taken care of the phone’s construction since it includes a protective layer, which is required for phones with curved screens. In addition, Scott Xensation UP protection is there on the screen. Because of its IP64 rating, the gadget is resistant to dust and splashes. A dual stereo speaker arrangement is also included within the phone.

The 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED screen of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels. Compared to its predecessor, the Vivo T2 Pro, which supported 1,300 nits of peak brightness, the device’s display boasts 4,500 nits of peak brightness and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Also, there is an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

The bezels on the sides are thin for the price. Regarding brightness, you are receiving 4,500 nits in peak brightness, which is an important figure for this segment. It is not just a boast, in practice, the greatest benefit of the maximum brightness is for HDR video, which is supported by both YouTube and Netflix. More significantly, we experienced no problems using this phone outside in bright sunlight.

We had a great time using this phone. The contrast, colours, and visuals in the videos are excellent. It offers excellent, crisp, colourful images and even supports HDR on Netflix and YouTube. Consequently, you receive a fantastic multimedia experience when you use the device. We used the phone at 120 Hz as its CPU is incredibly fast and capable of handling anything. The phone appears more luxurious thanks to its curved display.

Vivo T3 Pro Review: Performance and Camera

The performance is the primary highlight. Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, which is built on 4nm, the Vivo T3 Pro offers powerful performance together with battery efficiency. Indeed, it has a liquid cooling vapor chamber for better temperature control when playing games. Up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM are included with the device.

Everyday tasks may be easily handled using the Vivo T3 Pro. Performance was not compromised whether playing games, viewing movies, utilising social media, or surfing the internet.

Review of Vivo T3 Pro

You can play games in Ultra HDR on this phone. Additionally, this has a 2,000Hz touch sampling rate, which enhances the fluidity and smoothness of the game. In essence, it will accurately record each touch you make on the screen. Two features are included in its game mode. The first is the 4D game vibration, which, when activated, causes your entire phone to vibrate every time you shoot, simulating firing a real gun.

The second is motion control, which is an extremely cool feature that allows you to use gestures to control motion. This is really extremely helpful because, for example, if you tilt the phone to the left, the gun should reload; if you tilt it forward, it should jump; and if you tilt it backwards, it goes to a down position.

Additionally, there is a function called instant startup at zero. This feature has the benefit of turning on your phone in five seconds after charging it, even if you are playing a game and it shuts off at 0 percent. You will return to the game immediately after reaching the phone’s home screen in only 33 seconds.

It runs on Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14, right out of the box, and the firm promises two and three years of upgrades. Despite the presence of bloatware on the mobile device, the majority of the apps are easily uninstallable. We saw no microstutters or lags due to the well-designed user interface.

The T3 Pro 5G has a dual-back camera arrangement for pictures and videos, which consists of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

Thus, the primary sensor’s image quality is excellent in well-lit environments. In bright ambient light, it is able to generate high-quality photos. It seems to have adequate colour, contrast, and sharpness. You can see that the close-up pictures in this post are crisp and have good details. Because the primary camera can capture high-quality images, the colours seem stunning and are rather accurate.

Now let’s talk about the 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The images have a respectable amount of detail, although they are clearly just crisp enough for an 8MP sensor. The hues, however, are pleasingly realistic and almost identical to those of a primary sensor. In the same vein, low-light ultra-wide photos seem crisp, detailed, and noise-free.

The skin tones, details, and clarity of the portraits you see here are all superb. Although the colours are a bit bright, edge detection is also done effectively.

Photos taken indoors in low light are more or less clear and have less noise. However, you can see fine details in very low light when you turn on the night mode.

Moving on to the selfie camera, the 16MP front sensor performs wonderfully, displaying nice details and clarity. Additionally, the skin tone seems natural. Low-light selfies are also satisfactory, and the Night Mode option is also there. It is also possible to capture selfies in portrait mode, which performs admirably all around.

The phone has an impressive 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging. The charger is included in the box, which is the most important aspect. This phone easily provides 8 hours of screen time, and if you are a typical smartphone user, you may easily acquire a 1.5-day battery backup. Additionally, this smartphone has 7.5W reverse wire charging.

Verdict

In terms of overall design, the smartphone’s vegan leather finish improves grip, and the front and rear panels are smooth and curved. The main feature is that it contains a 5,500mAh battery, even though it is incredibly light and slim.

The MediaTek processor has given us very consistent performance across the board. This processor maintains balanced performance and vapour cooling chambers have also been implemented, which is why so many manufacturers like using this chipset in various price ranges. Therefore, the thermals are extremely effectively regulated even if you play games for extended periods of time. When compared to other phones, this one offers a really nice gaming experience. The phone’s battery is a major selling point.

The front and rear cameras both work quite well. In addition to the great daytime photos, the resulting low-light experience is also excellent. We can state with confidence that the Vivo T3 Pro is a stunning smartphone.
