Before you begin

Your iPad needs to meet certain requirements for you to run the iPadOS 18 on it.

  • Your account must be enrolled into Apple’s Developer Program.
  • Your device should be on the list of iPads eligible for the upgrade. You can check out the list here.
  • Your iPad must be updated to the latest iPadOS 17 version.
  • Your device’s battery must not be less than 50%.
