Android Q will now just be known as Android 10 as Google has decided to ditch the pastry/dessert name for its new operating systems. The new Android OS update is right around the corner and many companies have already announced its set of smartphones, which will get the update. Today we are jotting together a list of smartphones that will get the Android 10 update in the first 90 days (3 months) of the official release of the operating system. Companies like Nokia, Google, OnePlus and Huawei have already announced globally, which smartphones from their camp will get the updates first.
There are over 25 phones slated to get the update in 2019. If your phone is not on the list then fret not as more phones are slated to get the new update in Q1 of 2020 and Q2 of 2020. Many of these will be from Chinese smartphone makers like Honor, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo. Since these use another skin on top of the Android OS. Which is why you do not see many security updates also coming to these smartphones. Check out the list and see if your smartphone has made the cut.
