Amazfit India has officially announced the launch of GTS 2 on 21 December 2020 at a price of Rs 12,999. The sleek and stylish Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch will be available in the Midnight Black variant for pre-order on Amazon.in as well as on their official website in.amazfit.com.
As far as design and display is concerned, Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch comes equipped with a 1.65-inch AMOLED screen with 341ppi pixel HD resolution to make the display clear and true-to-life. Furthermore, the device has curves of the aluminium alloy body along with rotatable screen that delivers a comfortable wearable experience. In addition, the 3D Corning Gorilla glass with anti-fingerprint coating plus optical Diamond-like Carbon (oDLC) coating makes it scratch-resistant and easy to keep clean.
According to the company, “With 50+ elegant watch faces to choose from, with always-on display the GTS 2 is always in style. Customizable sub-menu gives you easy and quick access to access your most used applications and health and fitness tracking.”
Additionally, Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch comes with BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor that tracks your heart rate 24/7, it monitors the resting heart rate, heart rate zones and provides the users with abnormal heart rate warnings, to better understand your heart health. The BioTracker 2 PPG also supports OxygenBeats to measure blood-oxygen saturation. Moreover, the sleep quality monitoring helps in understanding the sleep patterns to enhance sleep quality. Wondering how it works? Once synchronized to the app, the users can learn more about how long you spend in light and deep sleep stages comprising of the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep stage, and even daytime naps.
Interestingly! Amazfit GTS 2 is fitted with 90+ built in sports modes that are easy to activate any time one starts exercising. Both watches are waterproof to 5 ATM so you can track your achievements when swimming or working out in tough conditions.
The company also revealed that one can swipe right on GTS 2 to take help of an intelligent assistant that shows notifications, event information, weather, music, sleep data, world clocks, and any background applications in-use. Also, swipe left to access a customizable secondary screen application for quick access to your commonly-used functions.
On the battery front, Amazfit GTS 2 carries a 246mAh battery that can take you through 7 days of typical use and 20 days of basic use, and is always ready to escort you on the journeys and track your progress.
