Amazon has announced the launch of new Echo models in the market. The company has introduced a total of four Echo devices that includes Echo Pop, Echo Show 5 and Echo Show 5 Kids, and all-new Echo Buds. Apart from this, the company has also expanded the availability of Echo Auto in more regions.
Out of the four devices, Echo Pop is the most latest addition to the Echo’s portfolio whereas the rest of them comes with some incremental changes. The Echo Pop comes with a new semi-sphere form factor featuring a custom-designed front-facing directional speaker. Being an Echo product the device comes with Alexa built-in. It is capable perform tasks like reading audiobooks, tracking the record of a favourite sports team, controlling smart lights and plugs, or reordering household essentials.
Amazon Echo Pop is driven by mazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor and comes with eero Built-in, which enables the device to add up to 1,000 square feet of coverage to an existing eero wifi network
The device comes in two colour options of Charcoal, Glacier White, Lavender Bloom, and Midnight Teal priced at $39.99.
Echo Show 5
Echo Show is the company’s Alexa-enabled product with a display allowing users to watch news clips, check their Ring doorbell camera, view shopping lists, or easily make video calls to friends and family. The latest version Echo Show 5 comes with a redesigned speaker system with a deeper bass resulting in clearer sound when listening to music, Audible, video content, or a podcast. According to the company, the new-gen Echo Show is 20 percent faster than the previous generation. The mic set has also been re-engineered and is powered by an AZ2 Neural Edge processor. Echo Show 5 and Echo Pop both support Matter, making it easy to connect and control compatible smart home products across various brands.
The Echo Show 5 will come in Charcoal, Glacier White, and Cloud Blue for $89.99. An adjustable Echo Show 5 stand with USB-C charging port is available for $26.99.
Echo Show 5 Kids
As the name suggests Echo Show 5 Kids is a kid’s version of Echo Show device with kid-friendly responses, jokes, homework help, explicit lyric filtering, and more. It now has a new colourful space-themed design and provides new parental control. The parents and guardians can access a free suite of parental controls through the Parent Dashboard, where they can adjust age settings, review activity, and set bedtime limits.
Echo Show 5 Kids also offers a two-year worry-free guarantee and comes with one year of Amazon Kids+, the only kid-focused subscription with thousands of ad-free and age-appropriate audiobooks, videos, games, and Alexa skills. It also allows kids to co-create a visual story using Create with Alexa, featuring two brand new themes: Dinosaurs and Jazzy Jungle. Echo Show 5 Kids is available in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany. Echo Show 5 Kids will be available in Galaxy for $99.99.
Amazon offers a good range of Echo smart speakers and now it has added an all-new Echo Buds to its portfolio. The TWS earphones feature a semi-in-ear design and of course hands-free access to Alexa. Simply ask Alexa to cue music, make a call, or set a reminder while on the go. It is said to deliver rich audio, long-lasting battery life and premium features.
The Echo Buds comes equipped with a 2mm dynamic driver that delivers rich sound and balanced bass. They include dual microphones and a voice detection accelerometer to distinguish between the person speaking on a call and others around. The Echo TWS also has tap controls, VIP Filter, and multipoint pairing, so the earbuds can pair and switch audio between two devices simultaneously. The device will last up to 5 hours with access to Alexa on a single charge and total playback of 20 hours with the case.
Echo Buds will be available for purchase in a single Black colour option priced at $49.99.
Amazon has also expanded the availability of Echo Auto in eight additional markets including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
