Apple introduced the most anticipated MacBook Pro with the latest M3 chipsets. At today’s Apple event, the company presented its new range of M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max CPUs for the latest MacBook Pro models and iMacs. Apple introduced three models for the new MacBook Pro. The price of a 14‑inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip starts at Rs 1,69,900 and Rs 1,58,900 for education. The 14‑inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro chip will be available with a starting price of Rs 1,99,900 and Rs 1,84,900 for education. Whereas, the 16‑inch MacBook Pro model comes with a starting price of Rs 2,49,900 and Rs 2,29,900.

Customers can pre-book new laptops from today onwards via Apple online store and will sell through Apple Store locations and Apple Authorised Resellers from November 7.

New MacBook Pro specs and features

The all-new MacBook Pro has been upgraded with M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chipsets built on 3nm process technology. The GPU offers hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The 14-inch with M3 processor provides render performance in Final Cut Pro with up to 60 percent faster than the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1. The code compilation in Xcode is up to 3.7 times faster whereas Spreadsheet performance in Microsoft Excel is up to 40 percent faster than the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1.

New MacBook Pro specs and features

On the other hand, 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro filter and function performance in Adobe Photoshop is up to 40 percent faster than the 16‑inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro. According to the company, the text-based editing in Adobe Premiere Pro is up to 30 percent faster than the 16‑inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro. Lastly, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Max supports up to 128GB of unified memory. Up to 1TB of SSD storage will be available on the MacBook Pro.

It has a 2x faster simulation of dynamical systems in MathWorks MATLAB than the 16‑inch MacBook Pro with M1 Max and a noise reduction in Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio is up to 65 percent faster than before.

The laptop features Liquid Retina XDR display with 1000 nits sustained and 1600 nits of peak brightness for HDR content. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate support as well.
The macOS Sonoma on the new MacBook now allows users to position widgets right on the desktop. While Safari, Profiles keeps browsing separate between multiple topics or projects, and web apps provide faster access to favourite sites. Game Mode delivers high frame rates and drastically reduces latency with wireless accessories.
