Apple CEO Tim Cook confirms upcoming Apple launch event for next week, could launch iPhone SE 4

The iPhone SE 4 is likely to debut at the event.

Next week, Apple will introduce the iPhone SE 4, which will bring about a major change in the company’s affordable iPhone portfolio. In the upcoming weeks, the M4 MacBook Air is also anticipated to be released. CEO Tim Cook revealed the “newest member of the family” in a post with an animated Apple logo, hinting at the impending Apple launch event.

In a post with an animated Apple logo, Apple CEO Tim Cook alluded to the impending introduction of the iPhone SE 4, the latest member of the company’s family. According to an X post, the company has scheduled the Apple launch for February 19.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg earlier disclosed that the 2024 iPhone SE is scheduled for next week. Prior to this news, it was thought that Apple would introduce an updated Apple Vision Pro with Intelligence features this week along with the iPad 11 (2025). Later this month, the larger-screened iPhone SE model with more features is anticipated. The M4-powered MacBook Air will be released by Apple in the upcoming weeks, according to Gurman.

Recently the Spigen cover listing accidently leaked product images of the iPhone SE 4 that give a good picture of the future handset. Spigen has already removed the listing, but users have shared the photographs on Reddit.

The design and functionality of the iPhone SE 4 are said to be similar to those of the iPhone 14. It has comparable power and volume buttons as well as a display notch. Instead of the dead mute switch, the left side of the case may feature an Action Button. Unlike its most recent models, the 2025 iPhone SE does not have a separate camera button, and its rear camera is comparable to that of the 2022 iPhone SE model.

The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to resemble the iPhone 14, but lacks a home button or Touch ID. Rumors suggest it will run on the latest A18 Bionic processor and feature Apple Intelligence, including an AI-enhanced Siri. It will also have a USB Type-C port and Apple Intelligence capabilities, as Apple no longer sells phones with Lightning ports.
