Apple introduced Powerbeats Pro 2 fitness earphones with a heart rate monitoring feature in India

For the first time, Apple has included a heart rate monitoring feature in earphones, utilising LED optical sensors to provide real-time performance statistics.

Apple has unveiled Powerbeats Pro 2 fitness earphones in the Indian market. The gadget has voice isolation, dynamic head tracking, personalised spatial audio, and active noise cancellation. With a Qi wireless charging case and a USB Type-C connector, the earbuds have a 45-hour battery life. A heart rate monitor, an IPX4 rating, and the Apple H2 chipset are also included. For the first time, Apple has included a heart rate monitoring feature in earphones, utilising LED optical sensors to provide real-time performance statistics. Additionally, the earphones provide Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 is set to be priced at Rs 29,900 in India. Beats have confirmed that the device can be ordered from Apple India’s website starting February 13. The device will be available for purchase in Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange.
The new earhook design of the Powerbeats Pro 2 is comparable to that of other fitness headphones, but it has been redesigned using a super-light nickel-titanium alloy that is well-known in material design for its remarkable flexibility and shape memory.

Compared to its predecessor, the device is said to be 20% lighter. In order to maximise the ease of use, the company is also providing a fifth ear tip size. Because Powerbeats Pro 2 has an IPX4 rating and is sweat and water-resistant, you can work out even in the rain, snow, or heat.

Workouts may continue without interruption thanks to the earbuds’ on-ear buttons or voice control for music management. For extra convenience, each earbud has a tactile volume rocker. The business claims that after more than 1,500 hours of rigorous testing with almost 1,000 athletes, the Powerbeats Pro 2 was found to be the best-fitting headset ever.
With the use of precise heart rate monitoring sensors, Powerbeats Pro 2 is intended to deliver real-time data on how well you workout. These LED optical sensors measure blood flow and send the data to fitness apps in real-time by pulsating light more than 100 times per second. At any time, the monitoring can be stopped.

The training earphones have Transparency mode for greater clarity of the outside world and Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) for concentrated listening. For an immersive music experience, it has an updated acoustic architecture, improved venting, and customised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.
