Apple iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone Pro Max and iPhone 11 launched:  Specifications and India price

The India pricing of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro is out.

Cupertino-based technology giant Apple has today taken wraps off its latest iPhones. The new lineup of the company includes iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and the iPhone 11. The devices succeed the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR respectively. Here’s a look at their pricing, availability details and specifications of the three newly launched iPhones:

According to Apple, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in Midnight Green, Space Gray, Silver and Gold colour variants. While the price of the iPhone 11 Pro will start at Rs 99,900, the cost of its elder sibling will begin at Rs 1,09,900. Speaking about the iPhone 11, the device is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants and its price in India will begin at Rs 64,900. The smartphone will be available in six colours including Purple, White, Green, Yellow, Black, and Red.  The smartphones will be available in India starting September 27.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max specifications

The iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max sport 5.8-inches and 6.5-inch Super Retina displays that come with a resolution of 458ppi. The newly launched Apple iPhones have support for HDR10, spatial audio, Dolby Vision as well as Dolby Atmos. Apple has added its latest A13 Bionic chip to the two devices. The chip is claimed to get “the fastest CPU” and “the fastest GPU” ever to the newly launched iPhones. The handsets sport triple cameras on their back panels. The setup has a 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a telephoto sensor.

The smartphones will soon also get a new feature called Deep Fusion that will enable them to shoot nine images. Four of these will be shot before the user presses the shutter button on the handset. The neural engine on the devices will then optimise the images taken pixel by pixel so that the user gets the best possible shot. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max also come with the ability to shoot 4K videos at 60 fps. Although the battery capacities of the smartphones are unknown, they come with 18W fast charger in the box.

iPhone 11 specifications

The iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display and is powered by the company’s latest A13 Bionic chipset. The smartphone runs iOS 13 and it has features like the Dark Mode and ‘Sign in with Apple.’ The handset sports a dual camera setup on its back panel with a 12MP wide-angle lens that has an f/1.8 aperture and OIS clubbed with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor that has an f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree field of view. Apple has added new features to the camera app like Smart HDR, enhanced Night Mode and an improved Portrait Mode.

In addition to this, the dual rear cameras also have support for 4K video recording at 60fps. The flash of the handset is also 36% brighter than its predecessor’s. On the front, iPhone 11 has a 12MP selfie camera that can record slo-mo videos as well as 4K videos. As always, Apple has not revealed the battery capacity of its device, it did say that the smartphone will offer “one hour more that the iPhone XR” on a single charge.
