The world must has mixed feelings for the new Apple iPhone XR. Some say the smartphone is a worthy upgrade if you are coming from an iPhone 5 or 6/6S, others who have used the iPhone X, do not find it appealing. Whatever the case maybe, you cannot ignore that Apple made device has created quite a wave in the tech world.
The iPhone XR will be available on pre-orders in India starting tomorrow (Friday), October 19. As said earlier, the iPhone XR will start its sales from October 26 in most of the markets and yes, this includes India as well. The price which was revealed at the time of the launch is still intact and this smartphone will hit the shelf with a price tag of Rs 76,900 for the 64GB variant. The iPhone XR will also be available in 2 more variations, 128GB and 256GB.
News is that one can start booking the iPhone XR via Indian E-commerce stores like Amazon and Flipkart, too. Offline retail store will also start taking bookings at the same time. The smartphone will be available in couple of colour options. These include (our favourite) Red, black, yellow, coral and yellow. As far as the technical specifications of the iPhone XR are concerned, it will feature a 6.1-inch super retina LCD display supporting 1,792×828 pixel resolution at 326ppi. Face ID is available to the customers on this mobile and it features a single 12MP camera at the back.
The iPhone XR is powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic chipset, which is also present in its siblings (iPhone XS and XS Max). But what makes it truly made for India is the addition of 2 SIM card slots. And yes, before we forget, the iPhone XR carries a 7MP front shooter for selfie lovers. Apple iOS 12 comes preloaded on this smartphone with all the latest features of the new OS.
