iPad Pro comes with an Ultra Retina XDR display. The device, which is the thinnest Apple product that utilises two OLED panels called “Tandem OLED” to attain 1000 nits of brightness and a peak brightness of 1600 nits, will be available in two sizes: an 11-inch display (5.3 mm thin) and a 13-inch model (5.1 mm thin).

The M4 chipset, which supports up to 2TB of storage, powers the system faster. The chipset, according to the company, is built on a second-generation 3nm process and features a 10-core GPU with ray-tracing capabilities. In addition to this, it has a totally redesigned display engine that can give up to four times quicker performance than the M2 chip. According to the company, the newest M4 chipset, which has the capacity to separate the NPU unit in its architecture, will also offer AI features for the new iPad Pro. The device comes pre-installed with iPadOS 17.

The tablet has a dual rear camera arrangement with a LiDAR scanner and a 12-megapixel primary and 10-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with Centre Stage support has been included on the front for taking selfies and making video calls.

For improved performance, the new iPad Pro is supported with Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro 2. According to Apple, rendering in Final Cut Pro is greatly sped up by the new M4 chip. It can reach speeds up to twice that of the M1 chip. Additionally, users can connect and preview up to four cameras at once with the new live multicam mode. For recording footage, the Final Cut Camera app can be used independently as a camera app.

Apple has also introduced the Magic Keyboard, which has haptic feedback. It also comes with an adjustable screen brightness. The latest model offers a trackpad with haptic feedback, an aluminium palm rest, and a function row. The redesigned Magic Keyboard keeps its essential functions while sporting a leaner design approach.

The new Apple Pencil Pro, on the other hand, has motion sensors, personalised interactions, and Find My. The iPad Air is compatible with the new Apple Pencil Pro as well.
