Apple has released iOS 26 Beta 9 for the iPhone. The update resolves problems in Apple Intelligence, Genmoji, and Siri. The stable update is scheduled to be launched alongside the iPhone 17 this month. Apple has included new features such as Visual Intelligence for screenshots, enhanced order tracking in the Wallet app, Reminders, Live Translation in Messages, Phone, and FaceTime, Image Playground with ChatGPT-style possibilities, and Genmoji for emoji mixing.
Apple has released an upgrade for the iPhone 11 and the later handsets in its beta program, although Apple Intelligence capabilities are only available on the iPhone 16 and 15 Pro series.
Bug fixes for persistent issues, including two eSIM-related problems, system-wide improvements to decrease crashes, and performance increases for faster app launches, smoother multitasking, and enhanced responsiveness. These enhancements represent Apple’s dedication to providing a smooth and efficient user experience, ensuring that the final release of the iOS update lives up to its users’ high expectations.

The liquid glass design, an essential part of iOS 26, reappears in Beta 9, providing a new and visually attractive interface. The enhanced animations provide smooth interaction across the system, increasing usefulness and making daily activities more fun. Furthermore, two significant eSIM-related problems have been fixed, improving the dependability of digital SIM card functionality. These changes address difficulties with carrier switching and plan activation, resulting in smoother transitions and a more dependable overall experience.

Apple’s most recent beta release also fixes a fault that allowed system upgrades to use unnecessary storage. It also corrects outdated information in Siri’s integration with ChatGPT responses. The update also fixes Image Playground and Genmoji difficulties raised by Japanese users. Furthermore, the Camera app bug that kept the mode selector open on launch has been fixed in several places, including small Kernel, Journaling, Contacts, Lock screen, App intents, and WebKit.
To download and install, sign in to the free Apple Developer Program using your Apple ID. Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates, then select “iOS 26 Developer Beta.” Back up your device before going ahead, since beta versions may include flaws or cause system instability.
