Google recently released the April 2025 update for Pixel devices, including the older Android 15 devices, the most recent Pixel 9 series, and the Pixel Tablet. This update fixes flickering screen brightness, fingerprint identification, camera stability, overlapping views on the lock screen weather clock, and Pixel Launcher difficulties while creating or switching users.
Pixel smartphones running Android 15 may now get the April 2025 monthly software update. The April 2025 update for Pixel users addresses and fixes a number of issues, such as those related to biometrics, camera stability, display and graphics, the user interface, and the Pixel Launcher.
“We have started to roll out the monthly software update for April 2025. All supported Pixel devices running Android 15 will receive these software updates starting today, and the rollout will continue over the next week in phases, depending on carrier and device. You will receive a notification once the system update is available for your device. We encourage you to check your Android version and update to receive the latest software,” Google’s support page says.
The update fixes problems with authentication of fingerprints, camera stability, flickering displays and graphics, overlapping views on the lockscreen weather clock, and Pixel Launcher while adding or removing users under particular circumstances. Better zooming in and out is also made possible by the camera’s increased steadiness.
