Asus launched latest ExpertBook B Series laptops with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 CPUs in India

The laptops have passed 24 MIL-STD 810H tests in 11 categories and up to 150+ ASUS internal durability tests.

Asus has refreshed its Business laptop series with the launch of three latest models in its ExpertBook B Series: B1, B3 and B5. All the models are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 2 CPUs and built-in Intel Arc graphics. They are available in two different screen sizes: 14 inches and 15.6 inches. The laptops also have Intel vPro Enterprise support and AI-powered ASUS ExpertMeet for on-device real-time translation, meeting notes, and voice clarity.

The ExpertBook B3 and B5 models feature anti-glare IPS displays with up to 16-inch, 2.5K resolution, 16:10 ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 400-nit brightness, and TÜV Rheinland certified screen, while the B1 model has a 15.6-inch 16:9 IPS display. The B3 and B5 support 400-nit brightness, whereas the B1 variant offers 300-nit brightness.

The device has passed 24 MIL-STD 810H tests and 150+ ASUS internal durability tests, boasting a reinforced chassis and ports, a pressure-tested display lid, hinges for 50,000 open-close cycles, and a spill-resistant keyboard.

All the laptops are powered by latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors configurable with up to a Core i7-1365U vPro CPU, Intel UHD graphics, up to 64GB DDR5-5600MHz RAM through dual SO-DIMM slots and Dual NVMe Gen 4 SSD slots with RAID 0/1 and dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD bays (2280 + 2230).

The series offers extensive I/O connectivity options with Thunderbolt 4 (optional on ExpertBook B3, standard on ExpertBook B5), full-sized HDMI, USB-C, RJ45, Smart Card Reader, MicroSD slot and optional 4G/5G Cellular connectivity on ExpertBook B3. Optional features like Smart Card readers, IR cameras, and Absolute Persistence integration provide robust security and manageability.

The ExpertBook B1, B3, and B5 laptops feature a 3-cell 63Wh battery pack with a 10-hour battery life and a 65W USB-C fast charger. The charger is a smart, multi-functional device that supports Power Delivery (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS), allowing users to fast-charge compatible smartphones and USB-C devices up to 65W with PPS and 18W via QC3.0 PD, making it the essential charger for all fast-charging gadgets.

The ASUS ExpertBook B series laptops offer exceptional video conferencing with two-way ASUS AI noise cancellation, an AI Camera with lighting optimisation, motion tracking, appearance filter, gaze correction, and background blurring, and ASUS AI ExpertMeet for real-time transcription and translation. The laptops also feature smart sharing features like webcam, facial centring, and screen watermarks for secure collaboration. Full support is available for models with 16GB RAM and above. Additionally, the laptops feature Dirac audio technology for superior sound quality, enhancing the online meeting experience.
