Asus launched the upgraded Vivobook S16 with a Snapdragon X processor in India

The laptop is a certified Copilot+ PC.

ASUS released the Vivobook S16 in India today. The gadget runs Copilot+ PC experiences and ASUS AI applications and is powered by the newest Snapdragon X Processor. The ultra-portable design has a 16-inch Lumia OLED display, up to 32 hours of battery life, and military-grade durability. The laptop is a certified Copilot+ PC with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities thanks to a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of 45 tera operations per second.

The S16 has a 16-inch OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 89% screen-to-body ratio, offering an immersive viewing experience with Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut compatibility.

Its compact design, 1.74kg weight, and US MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification make it an ideal option for daily usage.

The Asus Vivobook is a powerful laptop with a Snapdragon X CPU and 45 TOPS NPU, capable of up to 30W TDP performance. Its slim and lightweight design, paired with ASUS IceCool Thermal Technology and customisable fan modes via the MyASUS app, provides peak performance whether plugged in or on the move.

The ASUS Copilot+ PC comes with powerful AI features that improve everyday use. These include Recall, Windows Studio Effects, Live Captions, and StoryCube, which improve performance and audio/video calls.

The Vivobook S16 provides security and convenience with a physical webcam shield, an FHD IR camera with Windows Hello, a Microsoft Pluton security chip, and Passkeys. It comes preinstalled with Microsoft Office Home 2024 and includes 100GB of cloud storage using M365 Basic for one year.

The S16 boasts a 70Wh battery, 32 hours of productivity, rapid Type-C charging, and a variety of connectivity options, including USB 4 Gen 3 Type-C and HDMI 2.1. It also has a dedicated Copilot key on the ErgoSense keyboard, which provides quick access to your own AI assistant.

The device comes in Salvia Green, BFF Peachy, Matte Gray, and Cool Silver colour options. The laptop will be available at a starting price of Rs 79,900 for the 16GB + 512GB RAM and storage option.
